MSI RMA experience?

I RMA'd my board to them a month or so ago, and was pleasantly surprised how quickly the return was; not even two days after the board arrived at their depot, the new one arrived at my door.

When I received the board, the site was still stuck on 'preparing to ship,' so I wouldn't regard the status update as very accurate.

Proof or purchase huh? Ive never been asked for that, I thought they just go by the serial number.

My MSI experience. I RMAed a GPU, got a DOA one that was scratched to shit in return and had to RMA again. I RMAed a mb and got another defective one in return that I had to RMA again. No 1-800 number so you get to pay long distance and it takes many calls to get someone to pick up the phone. You can draw your own conclusions on those experiences.

Ok, well i'll let you guys know if theres an update at all, Last time i checked it was still "Preparing to ship"

I'll send an email asking about what happens next to the support person who emailed me, I defiantly don't want to be sent back my card or a faulty one.

Ok well, I got my check in the mail. It still amazes me.

So I was approved on the 8th of September, and received my check on the 15th of October.

Any suggestions for a new videocard based on my computer?

I would get another 5770. It's a good card, not expensive and perform well.
