Edit: Oh, btw, XFX doesn't have any more HD 5770 reference cards.... does that matter?

I'd say superclocked version of 450 as you've stated you're interested in folding. Not going to mention the rest of the NVIDIA specific stuff (e.g. forced ambient occlusion, etc) but will instead note that I've seen reviews that show the Fermi series cards getting higher gains from overclocking than ATi based cards. (likely due to VLIW arch limitations)
