Yet another update... I've been able to confirm that the voltage adjustment for the ASUS Top version can be carried out using MSI's Afterburner software.... no more SmartDoctor for me!!!!!!! ;)

A little birdy was able to confirm for me that MSI's voltage adjustment appears to work with most (if not all) other models of 450s as well.

The only wierd thing I've come across (and this happened in Precision as well) is that the fan speed doesn't seem to want to stick on the first try.... when you apply a change in fan speed, it won't apply unless you re-select that fan speed and apply it a second time.

After so many months, still the GTS 450 can't beat the ATI 5770 . Disappointed..

Why would you expect it to when it's on average $20 - $30 less expensive (which at this price point is 20%+)? It competes quite well against the ATI card that's in it's price range.

Add the fact that it's a PPD/$ monster, and I'd say they've got a winner on their hands. :)
