That's a $10 difference, some models cost higher and newegg is charging shipping for the gts 450. Plus, the card below comes with a $10 rebate.

Newegg.com - HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card w/ Eyefinity

And you can find the 5750 $119 now. $104 bucks with rebate. That's all I'm saying.

If I had to guess, I'd say it might have something to do with this: Beginning Sunday Night: GPU Review Week

from what i gathered, its supposed to rival the 5750 in price and 5770 in performance. overclocked itll get 'closer' to its bigger brother at 1680 resolution. in sli+oc? little monsters :)

sky did precision play nice with your samples? gave me a headache....

Yes. So did EVGA's OC Scanner.

ESPECIALLY when it comes to F@H.
Just when I was deciding whether or not to purchase a GTS 250 from Eldonko or get a brand new GTX 460, or ATI 5770. Maybe the GTS 450 is the GPU that I need, seeing I still game at 1280X1024 on a measely 17" monitor. Plus it'd be a nice boost for my F@H.

Here's one test. It's a good indicator of the card's performance. Reference and overclocked.

Yeah, you BETTER be thinking about boosting your ppd, cause in 6.9 days, you're going to be seeing my hydro bill blast by you!
