The first major DX10 demo released

As the title says- here is the first substantial dx10 demo using advanced geometry shading- -I haven't tried it yet. I'm going to try to download it, but I imagine it's going to much too large for my dial-up. Hopefully someone with with a G8 card will try it out and report back.

Backwoods New Brunswick  - not only is it dialup, it's slow dialup (26.4 Kbps)

You are not missing much. It was ok to fiddle with for 5 minutes... but nothing "ground breaking". One cool effect was a waterfall running down the mountain. Looks like real water and dries up realistically as well.
