My System Specs

Default Its Gaming time

summers awesome weather has left and i find myself playing more games. i really done feel like spending hours and hours comparing all the new video cards so help me chose, i play at a resolution of 1920x1080i (my 42" flat screen,) my budget is ~400 for 2 cards 200 this month and 200 next month. so point me in the right direction please. thanks to all who can help.

so far, fro mwhat i can see, all of the m1 gigers are good clockers, 768 megegrs being a bitbetter due to missing some but the 1 gig of ram being preferred for higher resolutions(and you get a bit more under the hood too)

From what I've read and seen for sale in the BST, the 460 1gb would most definitely be the best possible choice because of the resolution. If you look in the BST threads, there could be a sweet deal for you. Good luck!

You said 400 in your original post. For $200, the best you'll get is a GTX 460.

I would get the best single card than deal with the issues surrounding Xfire/Sli.

My pick for ~$200 would be GTX 460 1GB or (if you are lucky) a GTX 465 Unlocked to a 470 by Linus.
