Default What do you think of the HD 3850?

Im planning to get the Asus HD 3850 to play UT3. other parts: e6550, supertalent ddr2 800, 965p-ds3, enermax liberty 500w, rc-690 etc

1) Do you think i will be able to play UT3 at high settings @ 1280*1024?
2) Should i get yate loons (1 for TRUE, another for the case) from directcanada?
3) How is passive cooling with TRUE (assume no oc)
ofc, i will oc the 6550 (i got TRUE)

Like most upgrades the facts is always paramount. I have no doubt that you will be able to play UT3, Full high settings on the other hand may have to be left for trial and error. I would believe that it could, how well is the issue.
Stock cooling is always sufficient to run the card without OC. OC anything suggest a better cooling unit.

Asus HD 3850 is a nice card. However you might want to think about the 3870 in any brand. Sapphire, HIS, Diamond, etc etc... at the moment there all particularly the same since the card was only recently released.
This is only a ball park figure, but you may only pay an extra 40 or 50 bucks.
If you can't beat it...
