Default 8800GT SLI not better than 3870 CF?

i saw this on a HK fourm,,,~~

in single card 8800GT is a bit better then the 3870, but AMD seem to have optimise the CF with the new 38xx card and the AMD 790x chipset

I've noticed a recent trend that ATi cards have consistently performed senselessly well in 3DMark.

But horribly poor in gaming as well. Do not trust 3D Mark scores for gaming performance.

Not the same cores , motherboards, one has 3GB of ram and the other has 2gb.

those are extremly biased. FAIL.

The RAM maybe, but the CPU score is only 78 marks different, so moot...

but not apples to apples either...
