PhysX is shit...I don't mind having more sparkle in my fire and I don't play any of the few game that are PhysX capable so I will sell my 260 and put the money on my new video card. I still wonder why people always want card for PhysX.

right now not getting a 460 wouldnt be too good of a choice. unless ati drops 5850 where it shouldve been from the beginning(same range as 460)

I am looking at going 460's soon. really getting into folding and my personal machine res is 1400x900 so i am overkilling it for gaming. just have to wait till the cne is over ( wife has one of are horses in the jumper this year so gotta watch my spending )

If you're not interested in folding, then the 5850 is the way to go. The 460 is a great card for the money, but the 5850 is better, and for future games it's better to have the extra horsepower if you can afford it.

+1 for the EVGA 460. Great products with great support and rma if necessary.

Get the EVGA 460. The superb service is worth the extra few dollars. And if you want to in the future, you can step up to a 470 or 480. 5850 is loud, hot, and fails at F@H. Did I mention loud?

The 460 consumes more power than the 5850 and is therefore hotter: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 1 GB Graphics Card Review (page 6) - X-bit labs

If the 5850 is anything like my 5870, then it is not loud, and F@H isn't a concern for Martin.
