Good that you got an ultra!

If your default resolution is 1920x1200 or higher and you play games with AA enabled, the gts 250 is a downgrade, especially if they try to shove the 512mb version at you. Also, if you're SLIing, 2x gts 250 1gb is a massive downgrade compared to 2x 8800 ultra, irrespective of resolution/AA (SLI efficiency of gts 250 is lower).

was thinking the same

id get a 250 over an ultra just for the power figures.
