turns out evga either had another 8800 ultra on hand or fixed it,lol i'm farely happy they gave me the same model so i know i get same performance,and the warranty from the last card passes onto this one so i still get a lifetime warranty!!!
Going to pop it in now

i'm almost positive it's the same card,cause with the dead card,i noticed the little heatpads on the ram were smashed down and over the edge of the heatsink,this one looks the same.Havent been ablle to use it yet since i dont have a dvi port on my monitor just vga and 2 hdmi's.i'm removing drivers now for my ati cards

Check S/N......Ultra is still slightly faster than either a 9800 GTX+ (GTS 250)..in some games, other games prove different....Bandwidth speed alone is faster...a 260 would be an upgrade imo

yeah,has the same s/n as original... has decent temps(idle's @46c-ish load @81-85c when the room temps are much higher).BTW i have been using this website to compare cards Video Card Comparison - GPUReview.com

I find this almost sad...would've been nice to get a brand spanking new card...not your old one.
