Default EVGA GTX 460 1GB Superclocked EE Review Comment Thread

The GTX 460 has only been on the scene for a few weeks and there are already a huge number of pre-overclocked cards being offered. One of these is the 1GB Superclocked model from EVGA which comes with an external exhaust system that is supposed to decrease overall case temperature. In this exclusive review we take a look at EVGA's new card.

I am kind of curious as to why they specified external exhaust. Seems like marketing fluff.

As I expected, changing the cooler to an externally-exhausting one did more harm than good.

Great review, I always love EVGA and this card does not disappoint. I usually have the fan on my gpu's set to at least 90% all the time even when idling so noise isn't an issue with me.

I like the fact that the new GF 104 seems to have made a significant difference in overall thermal and performance results. My only concern is the fan assembly. This appears to be the same fan as the one in the 295. I think it's time to bump up the performance capability of this as well. Tweak this and it'll be simply a awesome gpu!

Edit: Forgot the most important thing, to thank SKY for another great review! Sorry about that one big guy, just a brain f$@t.

Another great review SKY! However, PNY seems to be a little slow getting to market. I hope they resolve this soon.

Every review of these things I see makes me want one more. Sadly I probably couldn't sell my 5850 at a decent price anymore because of them.
