Well you will get better performance of going TRI-SLI 8800 GTX's than going SLI 8800 GTX and 1 8800 GTX for physx as majority of games don't use physx. Also for physx based games you would still probably have more performance with 3 8800 working together.

Although I wouldn't spend much more money on your current system and save for a whole new computer personally.

I second the 460 recommendation. Two of those would slaughter three 8800 gtx's.

Also, you won't really gain anything in MW2 by adding a 3rd card, as AkG said, however, if your need to tinker is strong enough...
