I've been offered one at a great price but is it still worth it?

There were announcements of the card... ATI Radeon HD 4890X2 is real - Industry News - Overclockers Club , but I'm still having a look around to see if anybody actually had one in their hands.....

edit: I suspect however that it's probably a 4890 2GB card rather than an X2 and as such seems to be in the same range as a 275 so the price is probably close to what it should be, however I'm not sure I'd spend $250 on last gen tech......

edit#2: Nothing at all on anybody actually having an X2 in their grubby little hands so I suspect the OEMs decided it wasn't worth it, or something came up that made it a non-starter.
