Default Gigabyte GeForce GTX 470 OC Edition Review Comment Thread

Gigabyte isn't all that well known for their pre-overclocked cards outside of their Super Overclock series but they do have a whole range of moderately priced cards that do offer some additional performance. It seems that in order to get the boost of a pre overclocked card that you do some in depth research. As stated in your review, which was excellent as always btw, the amount of gain is negligible. The Super Overclocked would probably give you more bang for your buck. I like the look of the card, so they have that going for them.

Excellent review, interesting to see these cards have so much Headroom, and from a good sampling of different vendors to boot.

GB's warranty practice is sometimes questionable but their CS is pretty good and turnaround time above average for sure.

I really look forward to see a SOC card from them with custom cooler, GB really shines putting their own cooler on cards.

If im getting a Nvidia card, it has to be EVGA or an Asus Matrix. XFX and BFG was on my list as well, but yeah....
