Default 5970+5870 Added pics

I installed my Old 5870 with my 5970.

I scored 30872 in vantage... Is this good for Tri X-fire?

Dangerden Torture rack.

Extra cooling fron 2 Spot fans.

ambient= 18'C

The issue i think is, The P6X58D Premium X-fire slots are too close.

The hottest the card has gotten was 80'C, And i know i still Have alot of room, I dont like those high temps.

I might just add it to my Loop, But then i worry about the Cold bug.

I have the P6X58D-E and 2 5970s. Before adding a 120mm fan to blow air through from behind, my one card hit 101c. After installing a 70 cfm fan and running prime 95 for an hr I got 86-87c for both cards. The fan is 16 dbs, so there was no noticeable difference in fan noise. Considering a case change next, but they run fine.

So No ones sees a issues with 80'C temps... Ive always watercooled my GPUs So seeing these temps was a big shocker to me.

Main Concern is Resale, I wont sell a Part if it has the chance to fail due to abuse.

dont think its worth it except improving airflow a bit. in a case, yes its hotter but air travels around properly. open bench can be worse temps wise in some cases.
