triple 19" LCDs

Currently running an 8800GTX & wondering what i'd need to do to get 3 19" LCDs set up? If I have to add another card what should I add?

Well what is there rest of your system? Are you looking to run them in say a surround setup? If so you need a 5870 or higher from ATI and the current 4xx series from Nvidia to do this.

just for display? you gtx can run 2, add either a low power pci or pci-e ati or nv. if you have a spare slot. theres also those video splitting thingies, take one exit and goes to a few monitors. the good ones are expensive tough

I have atm a P5Q pro, Q9550, 4g ram, 8800GTX, 36g raptor os drive with 500g black storage.

My plan is to use these for gaming of course. depending on the game (BC2 ect) run right across all 3 or with say Guild Wars use 1 monitor for each account i'm using at once.

Yeah i'm running dual CRTs atm but have a chance to buy 3 LCDs. If I can get away with adding a 2nd PCIe card as my board can run crossfire setup so 2 PCIe slots are available right. What card would be best suited? There are a few cheaper 8800s on kijiji that I can pick 1 up of also?

I was more curious to what your power supply is, make, model and amount of wattage it can kick out. You cannot run the game stretched in all three screens at once, aka surround gaming, without a current generation graphics card from nvidia, the GTX400 series, i'm not sure if you can SLI the GTX200 series, or the ATI 5870 or ATI 5970. You cannot do it with a 8800 or two of them, the hardware is not esigned for it.

ok. i sugest,HIGHLY, you skip 19 inchers and go straight 1080p say a nice sammy 24 incher

This is kind of pointless. 3 x 19" monitors is still a fairly small resolution and FOV. Agree with the poster above.

You need an ATI card, or you at lease have to get a better GPU because honestly that wont suffice. You can do eyefinity with nvidia video cards, but you have to download a special driver... just google nvidia eyefinity.

Current psu is a 600W CM eXtreme power but will be replaced as I upgrade obviously right. My plan was to upgrade to the 5850 at least as it seems next to the 5770 it's the next best bang for your buck card on the market atm. If I decide to get the 3 19s i'll just run 2 for now on this setup till I finish the upgrades I guess.

Been doing alot of research on this & it seems I can use 2 vid cards in a non sli/cf configuration to run up to 4 monitors so..... i'm goin to grab the 3 19" LCDs & a cheap 8800GT or GTS to use in my other PCIe slot & try it out.
