Worth it at 260 a piece or still too overpriced?

Looking for surround vision (3 x 22" ultrasharp)... Don't play that much games. Maybe the upcoming SCII. A bit of MW2 right now but pretty happy with my 275.

Its a neat little card, good thermal profile when the fan is 50% and above.
I'm still fiddling with mine and optimizing it for what I need. For the price point though I do like it.

You just missed the sale PNY was having. I got mine landed to me 300.

I too run a 275 and I have to say it was a nice moderate upgrade.

I know for sure 470 SLI is overkill for me.

Any more opinions or just bite the bullet and go for 470s?

Is my i7 920 stock gonna bottleneck the 470s though?

Still overpriced at that level. Grab a 5850 or save a bit more and get a 5870 (if you know where to look, you can find a used 5870 for the same price or cheaper than a 470, and it's certainly a better buy).

Depends on the game, but you will probably be held back in a few situations. You may as well overclock the thing to 3.4GHz at least. That much would be pretty much effortless, and even the stock cooler would be enough if that's what you're using right now.

Yeah you are right, the price point really needs to come down some to compete.
I got it though in prep for Fermi Folding Rig so , there was little choice in my decision.

Folding changes things of course. But if gaming is the priority, ATI is the better choice this round as far as price/performance goes in my opinion.
