Default Worth the step up? 8800GTS 320 --> 8800GT

Hey guys, I know this has been debated on many occasions but I just want to get a reassuring response from my peers on this board. I am gaming on a 1680X1050 and I'm currently on the step up list for a 8800GT. But recently EVGA has increased the shipping from $15 to $45. I purchased my 8800GTS 320MB for $269 so basically I am just paying for shipping & other various fees which could amount to >$50. I was wondering if it is worth all the hassle to upgrade to a more efficient chip that offers better HD coding & performance over the 8800GTS 320MB.

Some opinions are appreciated

Definitely worth the price. Aside from the GT being overall faster, more and more often, the GTS' 320 MB of memory is caught choking at higher detail levels/resolutions.
