Actually, it only works with certain cards sent to reviewers that were rushed out and were indeed flashed GTX 470 cards. For the most part, I highly doubt retail cards will be able to successfully unlock.

The whole PoV shipment in our country is like that one modded.

Can you actually confirm this? I ask because even though the writers of that article are claiming they got their cards from a distributor, pre-release samples are usually sent by PoV THROUGH a distributor separately from the actual cards going to customers.

I know this because that's exactly what PoV was going to do for their shipments to a reviewer I was looking to hire in Europe (Spain to be exact).

looks like more pov's were unlocked lol.......

do we actually get any here?


many hours later edit..: btw....if pov can make money by selling flashed gtx 470's to gtx 465's with lowering price for same product(470 i wonder how much each card brings in, revenue wise...:)
