question is, is tehre bang for buck? :)

From the one preview I've seen, it is more expensive than the GTX275 and performs no better.

rjbarker May 30, 2010 02:09 PM

^^^^ Yeah everything I've read shows them quite "crippled" in comparison to a 470.......at $300 I'd go a tad more and go with a 470....

rapmaster May 30, 2010 02:29 PM

meh, for the same price, I'll get a 5850 instead.

Bingo.

Even the GTX 470 is having a hell of a time selling @ NCIX for $320

The GTX 465 will likely tumble in prices within a week or so.

i was expecting a cut down version of the fermi to be better power/thermals wise. its less of an ogre, but with the price/performance hmmm...

Deviant May 30, 2010 04:26 PM

As useless as the 5830...in terms of its price point relative to performance.

Stensby May 30, 2010 05:27 PM

If the GTX 275 was still around the GTX 465 would be useless, however there are still the Nvidia fanboys who will buy this card.
