Default Crossfire compatible?
I'm wondering if you can crossfire a Radeon HD 5850 and a Powercolor PCS+ Radeon HD 5850?

As long as they are in the same series, 58xx series can crossfire with other 58xx series. My understanding i could crossfire my 5870 with a 5850 and wouldnt have problems either

Crossfire with the same sub-series card is fine.
IIRC, some people were saying that if you mix different sub-series (like a 5870 and 5850) it still works, but the performance gains are minimal or something like that (others might know for certain, I can only vaguely remember some posts about it and I don't think it was on a 5xxx)
