My RMA# is XCR6237 it has already been sent,so i think alright to post.As for the naming of store, sorry ,maybe every one should have had more Tims that morning. I know people love the store, that why i went there because i heard they have great service and love gamers.Thats why i was so upset,a big problem that the other 2 places i buy at,would have replaced, as they have a few times in the past 8 years.I just hope i get the new one fast, because Crysis plays like crap on this old 7900GT

It seems some brands have their 8800GT cards with fans stuck at 29% (mine was). EVGA released a BIOS for their cards to fix the stuck at 29% fan problem. It only works for the 8800GT SC version though so you'll have to find a solution that will work with your XFX. But yep this is a known problem.
EVGA 8800GT Fanspeed BIOS Update
Quoted from the evga support forums:

We have released a new BIOS for the 8800GT SC (N802) that makes some slight adjustments to the fanspeed autosensor.

Basically the fanspeed just ramps up quicker, the KO and SSC versions will be posted early next week.

Also, all new EVGA shipping boards will have this change in place, we have this posted for those of you with existing cards. You can find this BIOS on the EVGA downloads page, or below.

This BIOS is ONLY for those who wish their fanspeed to spin up quicker, there are no other changes.
