My System Specs

Exclamation Wait a second...

ok so im comparing prices at ncix and newegg...
for this card: ASUS EAH5850 DirectCU TOP

and the same one(i think) ASUS DirectCU Radeon HD 5850
now im comparing the specs to make sure there the exact same card because the tittles where different but pictures the same at ncix they don't say 'TOP' but newegg does then i looked into the specs as i said before and here i found this:

at newegg:
1125MHz (4.5Gbps)

at ncix: 1000MHz (4.0Gbps)

i have heard rumours that the TOP stands for an oc'ed version but are these realy the same cards?

NCIX version isn't the TOP version. Just look at the Part # and the name of the product.

There is a Powercolor PCS ++ for $429 ONLINE ONLY sale at NCIX...

NCIX.com - Buy Powercolor Radeon HD 5870 PCS++ 950MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 2XDVI HDMI DP DIRECTX11 PCI-E Video Card - AX5870 1GBD5-P2DHG In Canada.

I'm not a Powercolor fan and I realize that the OP wants a 5850...anyway.

Also, at the Egg.ca, a weekend deal on a non-reference Gigabyte 5850 for $311+$10 shipping...good until the end of the day.

Newegg.ca - GIGABYTE GV-R585OC-1GD Radeon HD 5850 (Cypress Pro) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card w/ ATI Eyefinity

Dunno about the overall quality of these cards, but you get factory overclocked/custom cooling on both.
