8800GTS 640mb

I saw it for $330.

so im thinking about getting it today when i get the $270 i got for the 320mb Fatality card :)


Should i sell this 640 and get a GT? Or just get that 640. Or just not SLI

anyone have benchmark results with GTS IN SLI? wanted to no if i can rock out on very high

I would just stick with your 8800GT 640MB as going from a 8800GTS 640MB to a 8800GT doesn't justify the money you'll spend unless you'll save some money. Plus the availability of a good (XFX or EVGA) 8800GT is quite scarce. Its like someone wasting money buying a E6420 when they already have a E6400.

SLI is overated and I wouldn't spend the money on it.

You are bette off waiting for nVidia's highend video card since its suppsoed to be released quite soon in Q1 2008 I believe.

Yea, my brother really didnt want it. So i just sold it on ebay, i couldnt SLI the 2 cards together, and i didnt wana leave it here on my desk doin nothing. :D

True dat as you might as well get your moneys worths now since you can't use it in SLI with your 8800GTS 640MB.

Yea.

Well he plays COD2 on DX7 mode, for more FPS, and even when he tried out the card he still played it DX7, cuz ghe was just used to it. So i ripped it outa his machine. But now COD4 is out, and i think he wants it back, too bad :P
