Talking ASUS Geforce 8800GTX chip physical pictures leaked!

From the one in Asia today announced the ASUS Geforce 8800GTX website for detailed information Although not on the core chip technology specifications and details, But we know enough to make deals based on the next G80 core chip.

ASUS introduced the first batch of a total of two Geforce 8800 series chip specifications EN8800GTX/HTDP/768M and EN8800GTS/HTDP/640M respectively. This shows that at least the core G80 version, which will match Geforce 8800GTX 768MB 384bit Xiancun Xiancun bit - and, 640MHZ Xiancun 8800GTS match and then, bit-Xiancun to 320bit. In addition to the core Geforce 8800GTX / Xiancun frequency set at 575MHZ/1800MHZ. Nvidia's Geforce 8800 series chip continue to use GDDR3 Xiancun particles.

Also on the G80 core of the detailed specifications is not so sure. Reports said the G80 graphics core is CompoTech's first DirectX10 support, 48 pixel processing units will be built, an unknown number of vertex processing units. G80 will be built and there are reports of 32 pixel processing units and 16 vertex processing units. CompoTech final until it can be determined after the official release.

I think it's very interesting that the power consumption is not much more than an X1950XTX, but they feel the need to have two PCIe connectors...

Interesting thing is if you look closely at the 8800GTX there are 8 solder points for one of the connectors. I wonder if it was supposed to be powered by one of those 8 pin PCIe connectors that's coming out.
