Angry Video Card replacement

I agree with SKYMTL wholeheartedly. Go after them and don't back down. This seems a bit shady. Perhaps it would be wise to at least contact the BBB to find out if this has happened with this guy before, and advice regarding how to pursue this. Remember though, that yelling and screaming often makes matters worse.

Well i ended up calling and finding out that the person they had register the dns for their website is no longer with them and the site should be back up today or tomorrow and they haven't received info from their supplier because of the website issue. calling the number and actually getting the right person sort of gives me some relief. they should just call their supplier and not wait on an email...

Last update from me,

I shipped the cards back, they confirmed they got them and he shipped the right ones from another supplier, just got them now and they are the right ones. I gave the company a chance to redeem themselves and they did, for a bit it looked like it was getting shadier and shadier but they came through! props to them for correcting the problem. pic of the cards, thanks for the help guys.

How are the cards running pictures of them running in machines, congrats happy everything worked out, I've had a few shady deals here and there but not very often with a store as I'm pretty persistent (call it small man syndrome lol) about getting what I want. Worst I got ripped off was from that sniper guy on this forum when I first started here and if I ever go down EAST I'll be sure to stop by his house *wink*, other then that great community here always willing to support one another I'm glad I've only had one bad experience.

<3 this community!

Smile Video Card replacement

Glad to see it worked out for you. Kudos to the retailer for coming through, although I'm sure a little sooner with less grief would've made the whole experience less frustrating. It sounds like your persistence paid off. Now enjoy those cards!!!
