That was part of the 10.4 previews, so I'd have to assume it's in here as well.

I noticed the 10.4 update when setting up my 4850 based setup today, for some reason I have no more fan control .

So I said screw messing with things and put a passive cooler on it, much better now. As for performance 10.4 seems to be behaving so far.

To all you ATI freaks: Is there generally any real good reason to update from the preview drivers to the official release? I just installed my new HD 5870 yesterday and thus I used the 10.4 preview set.

The 10.4 release has a couple more things fixed than in the previews methinks.

Might have to try these over the weekend. Hopefully no adverse effects over the 10.3 drivers which have been really stable for me.

IIRC, I've seen some 10.3a or b drivers that were fixing the "big mouse" issue. This apparently does not apply to the 10.4, my mouse cursor still become fat from times to time when leaving a game.

I personally have no troubles with the 10.4. Keep in mind that my 5870 is my first ATI card :)
