Default BFG.....??????

What's up with BFG? 6months ago online retailers had tons of BFG cards but now it's slim picking.

Perhaps they have a deal with Nvidia as I haven't seen them make any ATI cards. That said Nvidias new line is just coming out and I've seen BFG 470/480s out there so expect to see more as they release their DX11 series of cards.

Don't think BFG as ever made ATI cards. Just compare BFG to EVGA at NCIX site. Both only NVIDIA but EVGA has always had lots of choices where BFG barely has any.

BFG does not sell ATI cards. There have however been rumours that they might start (though no evidence as of yet).

I was very dissapointed with recent RMA expereince with BFG. I have heard the same from at least one other individual who was told there would be a delay in replacing his card as they had no inventory.

Have another RMA in progress with them now. Signs of a company in trouble?

I am sure there will be an announcement shortly regarding the future plans of BFG. However, we are assured that they will continue to offer warranty support directly through their Canadian facility for the time being. Their support staff is extremely good as well so if you have issues with an RMA, you really should follow up with them again.

BFG's warranties have been nothing short of excellent for me. All RMA's have been done well and I've either got the same card or a better replacement. I hope they stick around. I've RMA'd a lot of 8800/9800's lately, seems to be reflow issues.... I would imagine the double slot cooler versions of the 8800/9800's will be fine.

I just called BFG, as i have a 9800GX2 being RMA'd.
They can't really comment on anything obviously, but when I asked if BFG was folding all together, the rep basically sighed and stated that he cant talk about it.... so that's kinda backhanded confirmation as there wasn't a firm denial.
Unless they are leaving nVidia and going to Ati?

Can you comment on that Sky?

What's with all these negative talk about BFG? I haven't read anything about the company folding or anything like that. Any proof available?
