^^^ Very good price for sure, but I'd want to see some reviews re: Quad XFire and CCC before dumping over 1.3K on this arrangement.....

Hmmmm... what makes the Black edition different than a reference 5970? Speeds are listed the same as a Powercolor card

More importantly though.... Think this will fit in a RV-01 Raven?

Personally, I'd MUCH rather have a pair of HD 5850 cards which outperform the HD 5970 by a pretty wide margin in some games.

Im actually getting concerned about bandwidth for those that pick up a couple of these: Supposedly Xfire 5970s choke @ Eyefinity resolutions due to the use of only one Crossfire bridge... Kinda expensive to confirm though. Hence why I keep forcing myself to wait for the OC'd 5970s w/ 4Gb...

A lot of people actually mentioned that HD5970s were really hard to come by (especially XFX lifetime warrantied ones)...Personally, these are too long for my case (and taste). But there is some in stock!

Now there is a few GTXes in stock, and a few HD5870/5970...choices for everybody.

Yes, no 8 pin connectors required and 5850s are easier to fit in most cases.
