SLI with different card clock speeds

Well the 8800GT is out and it looks fantastic. So I'm definitely getting one and seriously considering a second once I research SLI some more. But my question is does it matter if the cards are at different core speeds when you have them in SLI? And can you overclock seperately? I mean each card would be different so each would have a different max, but would you be limited to the slower one? So for example could you put say a Superclocked version with a KO version which has a core that is 25MHz faster out of the box?

The faster card will get downclocked to the slower card and this isn't a 100% for sure thing either, some people have got it to work while others have not.
