Default 2 x hd 4770 used for 180$ ?

Someone is selling 2 xfx 4770 used for 180$ . I could have a lifetime warranty on those 2. I'm not much of a huge gamer, so it would give me much enough for what I need em to do. But I believe this is a little expensive for 2 aging cards.. Isn't it worth more something like.. 150$ ? Your thoughts ? I was thinking of getting a single 5770 or a 5830 sometime soon, but those 2 cards could be a decent deal... but won't give me any upgrade path. anyway, by the time I'dd need to uprade, i'dd prolly change the whole pc...

-and I don't care (yet) about DX11. I mostly play WC3 and SC2. (I can't max out WC3 1680x1050 -.-) but I'll play D3 and I'dd like to try some new games (dirt 2 and few more)

Hello there my server, glad to see your sentience and self-awareness has been put to good use gaming

In more seriousness, AFAIK a single 5770 would probably be more powerful that two 4770's in Xfire, because you always have to remember that crossfire does not scale very well on some games, especially older ones like WC3. Starcraft 2 on the other hand might work well, but I'd still put my money on a 5770 for $180 over two 4770s at the same price. Now... if the person selling were to lower his/her price to around... $130 or so, then it would most likely be worth it.

Do new 4850s not go for something like $100 each or something? Yea, I say the 5770/ 5830.

Thanks for your inputs guys. Guess I'll wait a lil more as I don't need a GFX right now, and i'll just get the 5770 sometime soon. (or the 5830.. god, get this goddamn price tag down!)
