Upcoming NVIDIA Cards: HWC Announcement

Meh... nVidia is going to need to rocket out of the gates with some real horsepower to make waves. ATi has such a massive head start, and nVidia has been pushing back dates and letting people down for so long now...

Basically... I'll reserve judgment until I see for myself, and even then I'm in no rush to leap in.

AHHHHH the wait! Well at least I am keeping busy. Got 2 computers to repair. One is bad and one is just a few minute fixeruper. So the wait isn't that bad and since the HWC review wont be up till 7pm I know when to refresh like mad. Thankfully I will be home by that time from work.

Work is slowing down so this is great timing for me to get some new toys as I will have lots of time to play with them. Looks like the next month I wont have much work but it will pick up again in the summer so perfect timing. Plus tax refund not too far from now. I have been saving for a long time. Either I buy 2 GTX 480's or 2 5870's. My bet is that the 2 GTX 480's will be much better.

I hear this all the time, what do you mean by this? If you mean DX11 sales then yes nvidia is behind, in this case it doesn't matter because people upgrade all the time. If your talking about sales in general then I think not. I may be wrong about this but if we are just talking about money then Nvidia I'm guessing is still well a head in sales. Now before you say "WTF is this fanboy nuts" you should know I'm basing this off articles I've read of Q4 results for both companies which shows nvidia at $3.3 billion and AMD at $5.4 for the fiscal year. Also based off other articles saying Nvidia is the largest OEM and mobile distributor, and leader in the work station area, also apparently however retarded it is re-bands do seem to sell.
