Think Sapphire would be best. Much better than Powercolor. JD, why did you have to pay $25 if you dropped it off?

Done deal. Picked up Sapphire Vapour - X- 5870 today! As well as the rest of the components for a system! Unfortunately I can't start building until Thursday night :( This weekend is going to be fun! Thanks to everyone for your input!

For processing and shipping back to me since I didn't feel like picking it up. Even if I was to pick it up, they said it was still $25. Guess that's the base "processing" charge.

I currently have a powercolor 4890 and Its great. It doesnt get that warm, its not loud. I have read lots of complaints and maybe I am lucky but i have had no problems with it.

mine is hot and loud. It hate overclocking too, can't get anything above 890MHz on the core speed stable.

Upgraded system last week and went with the Sapphire 5870 Vapor-X Overclock edition. See System specs for other info. BFBC2 and Metro are playing well. Only issue I am seeing is the card locks up in games at the OC settings. I set it back to stock and everything runs fine. I'm not sure what the cause is yet.

When I oc my card it runs good in every game except BC2. It crashes. Maybe something to do with that game. BC2 hates ATI cards :p

The card I have is slightly overclocked by Sapphire. 875 mhz GPU and 1250 mhz memory. If I set it to 850 and 1200 it performs fine. I have an opportunity to return it for another one. Don't know if it is worth doing that or not as it runs fine other wise.
