Upgrading low end system

I am planning to get a new card to up grade this low end system.
Currently 8600 gt, 400w PSU, Windows XP.
What is better: 4650 DDR3 or 4670?

i wouldnt get anything lower than a 4870 or gtx 260, what monitor do you have? and what games do you/will play?

4670 but i would look at 5750 or a little lower think more about just get a 5XXX series card why buy old tech is what i mean.

hehe- I have a brand new sapphire vapor-X 5750 1Gb here that I need to get rid of- i ordered it for a friend without knowing that his computer was an ITX and found out too late to send it back.

It's a DX 11 card unlike the 4XXX series and a souped up cooling on it

if you're going to upgrade, actually *upgrade* - get something current generation, and decently powerful.

a 5750 or 5770 , since you seem to like ATI.

if budget is an issue... save up. buying old mid-low end cards continuously doesn't help.
