Default ati-nvidia physx hybrid, how to oc nvidia card?

ok so im running my 5770 as my primary and my 9800gx2 as my physx and folding card using 10.3 ati and 196.21 drivers through 1 monitor.

now i have physx sorted out and working with my 5770 but what id like to do is bench the nvidia card so i can oc it.

how would i go about doing that?
any time i try and run a graphics program the 5770 takes over.
is there an easy way to just flip back and forth between cards for this purpose?

is it as simple as switching primary display in resolution settings?
i havent bothered yet cause getting the physx to work is quite finicky.

oh and im using windows 7 x64

My System Specs

Switching your primary display to one running off the 9800GX2 should make 3D applications launch on that card in theory.
