don't worry I have a gtx 260 some place I can use for it. but I will prefer a 100 % Nvidia solutions. I'm not too fund with hacking stuf and have hard time to upgrade driver

I can give it a try but I have a problem, my 1200 watts PSU have 6 connectors, but I have only 4 * 6 pins cable the other are 8 pins, so I have to modify 2 of them , don't kniow why they don't do like other and make a 6+2 connectors, will check I think I havec extra Seasonic one, have to see if they fits too.

physx is not even that great, you dont really need it, besides folding........

Haha, even though there's been all these replies, no one has answered my question yet. What can I expect an HD 5850 to drop to in USD? I have one, and am planning on going crossfire once the price drops.

No body can awnser that... the 5850 will may drop only when it will be phase out ..we don't know. it depend on the demand of the market.

He's right though, we can speculate but until something like the fermi launch or something else happens we are at the mercy of ATI's coporate decisions.

I am waiting for a price drop too :) before i buy my new graphic cards, which most likely would be 5870 :P
