Not sure what you meant by this... I am however in no shape or form telling him he should buy a FERMI. By my statement I meant that once these cards are released, a drop on the current ATI cards might take place.

If the new Fermis aren't as good as people are hoping, ie. better than the new 58xx cards, then ATI won't be dropping their prices because there is little chance the new nVidia cards are going to be cost less than the ATI cards.

Then you can go ahead and buy the ATIs then, but for now... the smartest move is to WAIT see what happens after the 26th.

If you are ready to buy something now, then just buy it now. There is always something to wait for. Always.

I have the money for the 5870 since the first day they put them on the market, I was just frustrated of the price, and don't want to be abuse, but mr. the President of Nvidia frustred me more with all his BS. But I really want to have the physx, If the gtx 470 perform well and the price is right ( I know it will be high, I said right ) , I will buy 1 or 2, but if not I will do without physx.

Next time Nvidia want to sell something , kill the bear before sell it.

And I'm even more worry when I read than the Fermi was not design to be a gaming card, Nvidia is using that design because they have nothing else, so what this is means ???? they try to patch something to make it a gaming card ??? don't know I just read it and I'm not an expert and I don't know the reliability of this source. But it will make sense , since few years they just OC the card and sell it with an other # .

hmmmm...can you not just throw in a 8800GT or something like that and just use it for PhysX and use Crossfire at the same time?
