5870 is impossible for you as of now, your gonna have to wait for a rev 2 PCB design.

5850 will be a fine fit for you.
I don't mind picking up the 5850, but I'm afraid that its PCI-E connector adds about an inch since it's at the back. I'm not sure if it will fit unless I try.

I know the card itself will sit in there well, but will there be space to plug the connector w/o damaging the port.

My 5850 PCS+ (powercolor) fit just ok for the PowerConnector in a Antec Three Hundred case and that case is quite small

Sorry to say, but I don't think you could get the connectors on the back of a 5850.

But that has the hard drives the other way, so there is space to put the connectors in.

Canada Computers has the Antec 300 for $58 (cash). It would fit in that?

If so, you could get that and sell the case. Otherwise, other options??? How much is the restocking fee?

$50 (15%). Too much. Ah Canada computers how I hate you so.

It seems there's another person from a website who did manage to fit it in.

Not quite sure, as the picture above shows, the GTX 260 is a VERY tight fit.

Also a case for me must have a window. I need to see my hardware. It's a fetish thing lol

It doesn't fit. I have an Aluminus, and I tried. Without modding the HDD cage, it doesn't fit in.

Zamundaman,
What about removing the whole hard drive cage and mounting the HDDs (with adapter) in the 5.25" bays?

Is the hard drive bay riveted to the case or screwed in? If there are rivets, you can drill them out and replace with screws.
Does the HDD cage provide structural support for the 5.25" cage? Would the case bend/deform if the HDD cage is removed?

If the case would not bend or deform, I would go with the HDD cage removal for 2 reasons, you have a nice case and the 5850/5870 are the cards to have.

I hope this helps.
