What prices could you get the cards at?

You absolutely must not pay any of those prices! I got my 5850 new for $280! You could easily get a GTX480 for that kind of money. I know you said these are your local shop prices and buying local is nice but we are talking about over 150 dollars in mark up here!

He said the prices are in SGD. That means he's in Singapore, and the pricing available to him is not the same pricing we have.

Default Thanks!

Thanks all for the quick feedback!

Yes I'm from Singapore and these prices are in Singapore Dollars.

My other concern would be whether my motherboard can support it or not (total newb when it comes to new technology)

Motherboard : Abit AB9 QuadGT

Thanks all once again!

(Planning to get my card 11 hours from now so any advice in the meantime is very helpful to me) =D

Yes, your motherboard will support a 5850 no problem.

Thanks Zero82z & _dangtx_

I'm heading out and will get my stock Sapphire 5850.

Since I'm getting stock I won't be going to the store where I listed the prices so the price I'll be paying is slightly cheaper at $416 (SGD)

Thanks!
