Won't work in CF. I believe performance would be ~HD 5770 if I am not mistaken...

Won't work in crossfire, and if I remember 3870 x2 ~ 4870 ~ 5770.

if its equal to the 5770 i might keep it.. and just use it.. i would just like the capability of crossfire and a 5770.... will this case fit the card?

I would estimate around 5770 levels, but only in games that scale well with Crossfire.

if you use the GPu and the CPu at same time you will have a drop on the cpu PPD and also the GPU PPD for sure. I know I try it yesterday. what is your CPU..

The 3870X2 is a card with two 3870 GPUs on the same board running in Crossfire mode. Crossfire is not a perfect technology, and depending on the game, you might not see a significant benefit from the second GPU. Basically, certain games might give you the same performance you would get from a single 3870.

And yes, you should be able to use both GPUs for folding. Don't expect a lot of points out of them, however.
