Default Dedicated physX GPU

ok here the question, I plan to use 2 gtx 260 in SLI configuration on my Maximus III, so x8 x8 each, I still have a third slot PCIe 16 at x4 , I would like to install a dedicated GPU for physic on this one, is it worth to do so, and will it work on a PCIe 16 at x4. if yes what will be a good card to match those 260, need to be one slot for the attachment, but the cooler can be larger

My System Specs

Yes it would work. I would recommend at the minimum a 8800GT. The 9800 GTX is a better choice.
