Nice setup, thats quite a temp drop too. Quite surprised. What kind of application was on there in the first place?

i think its pretty safe to say it wasn't the thermal paste solely responsible for the temp drop, sounds like a mounting issue of the stock HSF. in the process of replacing the TIM, the HSF got properly mounted. unless the stock thermal paste was duct tape of course

that is a great temp drop.
i just replaced my thermal compound on my 5770 but did notice any drop in temp
owell, makes me feel better knowing whats in my card!
