Default 8800GTX drivers

Which seem to work best? Beta 163.44 or 163.77 or the other 162.18 for 8800series on XP 32bit.

Currently playing bioshock...yes still playing it!! Like to take my time..but have just switched to a 8800GTX and am wondering which to choose. Currently have the 163.77.

This new card seems to produce a little screen tearing during transitions from dark to light shading- perhaps its running frames ahead of the monitor?

Default ok

Thanks..
I had vsync switched off in the "game", but i will look at the settings in the control panel.

I am not sure about using rivatuner wiht beta 163.77 but it seems to work well enough for monitoring temps. Will try to set the fan a little higher as idle temps are 55oc.

My 7950GT was about 44oc. Cards so bloody long that my antec fan card cant get at the card intake though. well at least its sucking in some cold air from the bottom back of the case.

I think you want V-Sync on. It will prevent that tearing from the dark to light scenes such as in the beginning of BioShock where that guy its tearing to tear into the sphere thing.

Default dont know why

it looks smooth now. Ill have a go with vsync on and see if its ok.

Strange that rivatuner thinks the core is 594 as opposed to 600, guess bfg hasnt quite oc'd it to spec.
