Default EVGA 9800gx2 vs 260 GTX Core 216

Hello
I have an offer to trade my 260 for 9800gx2 should i do it.

And will my 2 six pins be enough to power the card or do i need a molex to 8 pin adapter

You need a 8 and a 6 to power it. Keep in mind the gx2 will be warmer and use more power. But if you don't go through with it i'll take tge gx2 :)

I wouldn't make the trade. The 9800GX2 doesn't have very good scaling in general, and a GTX260 will run most games more smoothly.

I don't know how good the drivers are now for the gx2 but i'm pretty sure it's better to stay with your 260..
