Default over clocking 8800 gs

i've put together a new system from parts i've got and started to overclock my card.
currently it's at core 550, shader 1825, memory 800, fan on 75%
and folding away. it seems the temperature doesn't go up beyond 57 while folding. should i push it a bit more?

Interesting...nice shader clock. You can push the core way higher if you unlink by the way. Same goes for the mem. I remember my 8800gs got 675 on core, 1750 on shaders and 900 on mem if you want a reference on an asus 8800gs with accelero s1 but I may have gotten my numbers wrong :X. It was quite a while ago but yes, keep going. Even to 80 should be still good under furmark

Folding relies solely on the shaders. Core and memory speed has little to no effect. Your shaders could probably be pushed a tad higher. How many shader processors does your 8800GS have?

@jcmaz. I think your 8800GS core can exceed 680Mhz. Have you tried overclocking it some more?

i actually had my core and mem under clocked. but right now i'm not home where gs is and at school so thing is back on stock. probably when i go back home for christmas i'll crank it up as high as it'll go. but before i left i had eue and artifact in ATI tool so put it down to 1750 without problems.
oh and i already had it unlinked. thanks. can't wait another 3 weeks ;p
or i might push it till it burns so i can get a new gpu
