Default Comment Thread for Sapphire HD 5970 2GB OC Review

ATI has seen a shortage of HD 5870 cards as of late.

Why? Because they're using the cores somewhere else!!

Where?

In the HD 5970!!!

You can read the review here: Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 2GB OC Edition Review

Please use this thread to post your questions and comments.

ALSO, make special note of the PCI-E scaling section.

12.25"!!! That's one HUGE beast of a card! Insane perormance or not, that's pushing the realms of reasonability. The cards certainly run the size gamut in this generation... From the 5750 to this monster.

Typo on heat and acoustics page! The chart says 5870 GPU1 and GPU2. Should be 5970.

Good review otherwise.

Very nice. Although, in the temperature tests, I believe the graph is mislabeled. Says "HD 5870 2GB GPU 1 / HD 5870 2GB GPU 2" should that be 5970? Otherwise great review.

Edit: Beaten to it.
