I don't have the card myself but it's most likely looking the same that the sapphire one.
SAPPHIRE- HOME

I actually have a cooler like that on my 4870 and it's pretty silent. Also perform really good.

Kind of doubt it, but that's just me. I think Vapor-X is exclusive to Sapphire, but who knows.

Judging by the Newegg reviews, it seems to work fine and is silent. So I wouldn't worry too much.

I thought it had to be nicer, but according to this thread on NCIX, it may not be, XFX HD4890 got pimped out!

It's not the same as the vapor-X, this model is exclusive to sapphire. You can see by the picture reveled below that the cooler is similar to the sapphire 4870 stock or toxic edition with the rev C. cooler. Had a heatpipe to that and...better performance probably lower fan speed then...nice cooler.

that's exactly what i was looking for. thank you so much, and thanks to all who responded.

gonna take a look at some other models...with all the "cheaping out" these manufacturers seem to be doing w/ these cards, i might just be better off going with a 4770 for now and upgrading when more DX11 cards come out.

any other recommendations are most welcome =D

read some reviews on this MSI GTX 260

five heatpipes, samsung memory, heatspreaders on the memory, dual fans. performance looks to be on par with stock GTX 280s

does anyone have any experience with this card, specifically overclocking?
