Video playback issues with 4870x2?
Been a while since ive been on the red side of things but I decided to go with a 4870x2 and give it a try. Now the card works awesome while gaming, ive had no issues other then coil squeal but that was solved by buying some tritton AXpros ;) Now though I am having some serious issues with video playback.
Seems that on youtube movies and movies that I cant run in administor privilages (everything other then media player and VLC..) I get alot of tearing, If I run in administrator those problems seem to go away but then I have an issue with the lower 1" of the video window being a few pixels off center of the rest, which makes for a nasty line and an overall displeasing video viewing experience. Ive tried pretty much everything I can think of, even changed up monitors. I tried locking the 3d clocks, turning on vsync for all applications, not sure what else to do since I wouldnt call this an artifact issue and im not overclocking the card atm.
Any help from the red corner? If this continues I may need to switch back to green soon :(
