1920 x 1280 has enough pixels for me. The over one hundred DPI of a thirty inch screen is attractive but I have never sat in front of one for an extended length of time. Considering the price, I may just be happy to not know what I am missing.

That is true it is costly and not only the screen but the added GPU power.
